A stunning South Hams holiday cottage in between Salcombe and Kingsbridge.

If you’re looking for the perfect south hams holiday cottage, especially a cosy dog-friendly hideaway, within walking and cycling distance of Salcombe and Kingsbridge but away from the madding crowds, look no further! Little Creek Barn is a beautifully converted barn in the idyllic hamlet of Easton, just up the lane from Collapit Creek. This is one of the most peaceful valleys in the south Hams, wonderfully quiet and away from all traffic, yet only a short drive or paddle away from the bustling villages of Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Inside you’ll find everything you need for a luxurious getaway, with a fully-equipped kitchen, walk-in shower, super-king sized bed, and a logburner to keep you nice and toasty in winter! And depending on the rate you book, the barn is available as either self-catering or bed and breakfast!

South Devon’s beautiful playground

Apart from a super comfortable night’s sleep, there are an awful lot of other reasons to come and stay with us obviously! We feel blessed to live in the South Hams and delight in showing new guests the wonders of the local area, and the best ways to explore it.

The Beachhouse South Milton

foodie heaven

There is no shortage of delicious and varied restaurants, beach shacks, and cafes to go and explore. Please check out our list of favourite spots and hidden gems that we visit regularly to check they’re still amazing.

Paddleboarding Collapit Creek

adventure sup

When the tides are right one of our favourite ways to start or end the day is a paddle up the creek. You can borrow our boards (if you have a roof rack), or rent boards from North Sands, South Milton, or Kingsbridge.

Mothercombe Beach

oh the beaches

There is something about the beaches in the South Hams, not just the big ones but the hidden ones, …the secret ones. Apart from their obvious beauty, they are so frequent and varied that they never get crowded. We love them!

Starehole Bay

epic walks

If you like walking and exploring you’re in for a treat. There are miles and miles of fantastic coastal walks, inland wooded trails, and beautiful beaches. All of which are marked on the OS maps we provide for you in Little Creek Barn.

Whitestrand Boat Hire

boat hire

If you have no boating experience but would love to get on the water, you can do exactly that with Whitestrand Boats in Salcombe. If a RIB is what you’re after and you have a PBL2 then you can get in touch with Sea-n-Shore.

Dartmoor electric bike

ebike hire

We have two Cube MTB E-bikes that are super easy to ride. They won’t make you super fit, but if a leisurely ride to Salcombe without the worry of parking is what you’re after, there is no better form of transport! Just select on booking, or ask us the night before.

Overbecks National Trust

national trust

From Overbeck’s gardens to South Milton Sands, we have no less than nine National Trust locations to visit in the local area. One advantage of being an NT member is the free parking you will get in all these car parks!

Bass lure fishing from the rocks

fishing

Jamie is an obsessive bass fisherman, so if you have any desire to go fishing during your stay he will gladly point you in the right direction, or offer a guided sessions (at dusk or dawn), in our boat or along the shore.
